Assistant Apartment Property Manager (Affordable Housing) BG Staffing Location: Lorain, OH 44055 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $21–$24 per hour (based on experience) About the Opportunity BG Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Apartment Property Manager with a background in affordable housing to join a dynamic and professional property management team in Lorain, Ohio . This is a full-time, weekday position offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability. Position Overview As the Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily property operations, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations, and delivering exceptional service to residents and prospective tenants. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the unique requirements of affordable housing communities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day management of the property Support leasing, including applications, move-ins, and renewals Ensure compliance with affordable housing guidelines and programs (HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, etc.) Maintain accurate tenant files and documentation Handle resident inquiries and provide outstanding customer service Assist with rent collections and financial reporting Coordinate with maintenance and other staff to ensure property standards are met Uphold all company policies, procedures, and fair housing regulations Qualifications Required: Prior experience in affordable housing/property management Knowledge of compliance programs (HUD, LIHTC, Section 8 preferred) Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Compensation & Schedule Pay Range: $21–$24 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Full-time, steady hours—no weekends required Why Work with BG Staffing?
