Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

SUMMARY: Seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA is responsible for administering therapeutic treatments in accordance with individualized patient care plans. This role plays a key role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, while maintaining a high standard of care and promoting a supportive healing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Administering physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. *Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities and mobility training. *Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatment. *Communicating effectively with the Physical Therapist and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated care. *Educating patients and families on home exercises and safety strategies. *Ensuring treatment areas and equipment are clean, safe, and properly maintained. QULAIFICATIONS: *Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) required. *Current licensure to practice as a PTA in the State of Oregon required. *Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire. *Valid and unrestricted driver's license required. *Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment. *Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description. *High School Diploma or equivalent *Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks.
