RNII PRN - NICU Nights

REQUIRED: 1+ years of NICU experience. Up to 20k Sign On Bonus available. Job Summary The RN’s practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics. The RN has knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to the care of the patient population served. The RN records patients’ medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operates medical equipment, administers treatment and medications, and assists with patient follow‑up and rehabilitation. The RN establishes or contributes to a care plan that may include medication administration, careful dosage checking, intravenous (IV) line management, therapy administration, observation and documentation, and consultation with physicians and other clinicians. The RN teaches patients and families about illness and injury management, post‑treatment care, diet, nutrition, exercise, and self‑medication. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses and nursing aides and delegates care appropriately. The RN supports clinical knowledge advancement, precepts new staff and students, and continues to enhance nursing management and patient care skills.
