Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date 09/14/2026 for 17 weeks. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (D/E/N) with on‑call/callback, floating, holidays and weekends per unit needs. Weekly pay: $2,286–$2,334 per week. Travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,286–$2,334 per week Contract duration: 17 weeks Start date: 09/14/2026 Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (D/E/N) Assignment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment Location: Rochester, NY; hospital setting Responsibilities Provide intraoperative nursing care as scrub and/or circulating RN for a wide range of surgical cases (orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral‑maxillofacial, trauma) Prepare the OR, ensure sterile technique, assist with positioning, draping, instrumentation, and specimen handling Scrub and circulate for diverse procedures; assist with robotic‑assisted cases using DaVinci systems Support transplant cases involving livers, kidneys, and hearts; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Monitor patient status intraoperatively, manage anesthesia communication, and respond to intraoperative changes; ensure patient safety and documentation Work as part of a rotating schedule with on‑call/callback requirements, and participate in unit‑wide coverage, holidays, and weekends as needed Requirements NY RN license (active) – NY state license ONLY Two (2) years operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center Able to scrub and circulate Telemetry experience highly desired BLS certification (American Heart Association required) ACLS certification preferred Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Credentialing and onboarding assistance Coordination of travel logistics and ancillary support as available About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high‑quality contract assignments across the United States.
