What Youll Do

As an


Occupational Therapist (OT)


, youll play an essential role in helping children achieve greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  comprehensive evaluations
  
  
  to identify therapy needs, goals, and expected outcomes.

  Developing and implementing a
  
  
  personalized Plan of Care
  
  
  , coordinating with nurses and healthcare staff.

  Administering
  
  
  therapeutic techniques
  
  
  to meet developmental and functional goals.

  Maintaining
  
  
  open communication
  
  
  with families, team members, and physicians to ensure quality, consistent care.

  patient safety

Requirements

• 
  
  

  
  
  
  Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
  
  
  from an accredited program.
  

  
  



• 
  
  

  
  
  
  Current, unrestricted Florida OT license.
  
  
  
  




• 
  
  

  
  
  
  Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  
  
  
  




• 
  
  

  
  
  
  Current CPR certification.
  
  
  
  




• 
  
  

  
  Demonstrated proficiency in
  
  
  clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance
  
  
  with care standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  One (1) year of recent experience in
  
  
  acute care or rehabilitation

  Pediatric experience
