Project scope:

Projects related to retail technology, POS software is being replaced, front end testing, not back end or integration testing, payment testing is a plus

Loyalty and marketing- front end, run through test cases in their physical lab.

Nice to have: anyone in retail, payment, solid manual testing, troubleshoot and problem solve

Required:4-5 years manual, debug management, lead or been a part of big projects, Jira, Qtest (can train on this)

Plans for automation: planning on scaling up what they need to learn automation (taska), any exposure to automation is a plus

Immediate need and hasn't seen any candidates

How This Role Will Make An Impact

The QA Analyst will manage quality and assigned testing across the entire Store Technology Project/Program. They are responsible for assuring that their assigned solutions and services meet PetSmart's standards and customers' expectations for quality.

Your Goals And Responsibilities Will Include:

• Plan, design, craft and execute manual test cases for solutions and services in a complex integrated environment
• Coordinate various test-related activities for project delivery: identifying task dependencies, test schedules, creation of test data, utilization of test environments, etc.
• Work with product stakeholders to identify and prioritize tests that are candidates for integration, regression and automation.
• Delegate/Coordinate, manage and work with internal teams to deliver on QA efforts
• Provide constructive feedback throughout the development lifecycle
• Develop new test cases and enhance current test suite as new functionality is built
• Manage the status of defects/enhancements in the issue tracking/change management system as well as manage defects through issue resolution for any vendor provided solutions
• Collect and report data pertaining to bug detection, defect testing results and performance
• Work with development and delivery teams to enhance the testability of their code, and to analyze and resolve defects in a timely manner
• Provide on-site guidance and mentorship to other QA testers
• Partner with IS and Business teams through testing strategy, findings, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring To The Table:

• 4-5 years of strong manual QA Testing experience
• Solid understanding of software testing practices and agile development
• Strong Analytical skills that helps with working independently under minimal direction
• Great communication, Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Leadership skills to manage multiple priorities and guide other testing efforts
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management platform
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks is helpful
• Strong customer focus and ability to clearly understand requirements and designs, offer recommendations for improvements and ability to ensure solution meets the customer needs
• Passion for delivering quality software solutions, systems and services
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and the ability to deal with ambiguity
• Strong problem solving skills

A Standout Candidate Will Have:

• Specific experience with Point of Sale platform testing, including Payment integration experience highly preferred
• Experience with Retail, Loyalty, Payment and Marketing solutions
• Experience in testing with web, mobile application and API messaging across multiple devices.
• Experience with Automation test tools, such as TOSCA
• Stress/Performance/Security testing experience is a plus
