Housekeeping AttendantAs a Housekeeping Attendant at the Bayfront Convention Center, you'll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming environment for every guest. Whether preparing a ballroom for a gala or refreshing meeting spaces between sessions, your work helps make each event shine. If you take pride in staying organized, working hard, and being part of a team behind the scenes—you'll fit right in.This hands-on position supports the overall cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the convention center:Perform full changeover cleaning between events—including vacuuming, dusting, table-wiping, and trash removalOperate custodial equipment such as riding/walk-behind floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleanersAssist with laundry duties and general housekeeping needs throughout the facilityMaintain assigned areas and report any maintenance or supply needs to the supervisorWork efficiently to ensure event spaces are clean, presentable, and ready on timeCollaborate with team members and follow all safety procedures and cleaning standardsPerform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping ManagerWe're looking for someone who:Has a high school diploma or equivalentIs 18 years or olderHas general knowledge of cleaning methods and safe chemical usageCan lift up to 50 pounds and work on their feet for long periodsIs comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduledIs dependable, self-motivated, and detail-orientedMust pass a background/reference checkHas a valid driver's license preferredWe know great work deserves great rewards.
