Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist III with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Linthicum, Maryland. As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, you will help modernize the system security evaluation and authorization process through automation, continuous monitoring, and data-driven analytics.

Working alongside a collaborative engineering team, you will develop, maintain, and optimize large-scale analytics that support enterprise data processing and operational success. You'll leverage big data technologies to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely data delivery while supporting mission-critical analytics and data ingestion processes.

As a Data Scientist III, you'll have the opportunity to work with modern analytics platforms, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop innovative data solutions that support critical national security missions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute Pig and PySpark analytics supporting enterprise data processing.
• Review data ingest tickets and collaborate with team members to ensure successful data integration.
• Review merge requests and contribute to code quality and development best practices.
• Deliver reliable and accurate data to end users in support of mission operations.
• Investigate and troubleshoot data ingestion issues to ensure data accuracy and operational success.
• Support day-to-day analytics operations and enterprise data management activities.
• Contribute to Secure the Enterprise initiatives by supporting automation, continuous monitoring, and data collection throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop scalable and reliable analytics solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Strong background in analytics development.
• Experience with Pig.
• Experience with PySpark.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with Scala.
• Experience with Apache NiFi.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
