DescriptionRobert Half is looking for a CFO for a growing Cincinnati based company. The CFO is responsible for directing the accounting/financing department of the organization in accordance with sound business practices and generally accepted accounting principles. For immediate consideration please contact Jarrod Moon at View phone number on click.appcast.io.Primary Responsibilities: • Oversee the organization's financial function including the timely production of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports• Manage, evaluate and develop accounting team personnel• Lead and manage the annual budgeting process• Develop, implement and enforce all policies and procedures necessary to provide appropriate controls including but not limited to cash controls, financing policies, collections and payroll.• Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to manage cash position.• Continually refine the finance department structure and team to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the group• Provide and refine cost analysis of all company services and products• Work with our outside auditors to provide accurate and efficient auditing of the financial statementsRequirements• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior-level oversight of accounting and treasury functions.• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.• Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance practices, and policy development within a regulated environment.• Experience leading and developing accounting teams with a focus on performance management and continuous improvement.• Ability to build effective relationships with banks, auditors, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.• Background in healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance settings is strongly preferred.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CPA or MBA are advantageous.Job typePerm
