Senior Director of eDiscovery

Senior Director of eDiscovery Employment Type: Full Time, Executive Level Department: eDiscovery and Litigation This role leads an electronic discovery team on a large government project. Responsibilities include supporting governmental professionals in all aspects of litigation support and eDiscovery, including project management, electronically stored information (ESI) intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaison with third‑party vendors. Responsibilities Perform administrative functions for litigation support software and eDiscovery databases, including database creation and maintenance. Import images, data, transcripts; search and export data. Document scanning, OCR, coding, and production. Process and publish electronically stored information for cases. Assist in preparing documents and exhibits for trial. Receive and log incoming media, maintaining chain of custody and tracking documentation for media and data. Contribute to internal process development, preparing workflows and documentation. Work overtime hours, including nights and weekends on a per‑project/case basis. Problem‐solve and troubleshoot technical issues within the eDiscovery platform. Maintain close working relationships with the General Counsel, attorneys, law clerks, and legal assistants as part of the matter team. Meet with and build relationships with eDiscovery vendors; maintain relationships with current vendors. Be self‑motivated and eager to shape the future of the department. Learn new eDiscovery review platforms quickly. Qualifications Understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes, procedures, and practices. Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation support, electronic discovery, and/or technology support environments; government experience preferred but a law firm or top eDiscovery vendor is acceptable. Experience performing administrator and case manager functions in Relativity. Experience providing end‑user support and training on all litigation support applications. Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO, and other applicable eDiscovery software platforms. US citizen required. Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Relativity Certified Administrator Certification.
