About the Team The Growth (GO) Implementation Strategy team focuses on building, optimizing, and scaling an AI‑driven deployment approach so that Workday deployments are repeatable, high quality, and insight‑driven across our ecosystem. Our mission is to enable customers to adopt Workday products in the most effective and efficient manner to ensure lasting success. About the Role As a Principal Product Advisor, Financials, you are the primary architect of an AI‑driven Workday Financials deployment for our GO customers. You define deployment workflows, configurations, automation, and AI tooling that reduce customer and consulting effort and increase customer satisfaction. You continuously assess deployment tool enhancements, optimize pre‑configured content, and translate delivery learnings, escalations, and patterns into concrete improvements. You partner with engineering to build AI‑driven tools that reduce deployment effort and improve quality. As a P5 Principal, you lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives with high autonomy, partnering with senior leaders across Product, Services, and Sales. Responsibilities Drive the end‑to‑end deployment approach and content for your pillar (Core Financial Management, Spend Management, or Revenue Management). Ensure excellence in Banking and Settlement and integrate seamlessly across all financial workstreams. Solve complex reporting needs—including statutory, management, and operational reporting—by building scalable, tool‑based solutions. Identify patterns in implementation challenges and partner with engineering to build AI‑driven tools that reduce deployment effort and improve quality. Basic Qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise software deployment, financial systems consulting, or a related advisory role within Workday Financials across at least one major pillar. Proven leadership of complex, global workstreams with strong hands‑on proficiency with the Workday Financials product. Comfortable using AI tools and generative AI assistants to design or enhance implementation workflows, documentation, and training content. Experience translating deployment challenges and performance data into actionable, automated solutions for an enterprise software implementer. Other Qualifications Deep experience planning, configuring, and optimizing enterprise financial software deployments, including managing updates, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring alignment with existing infrastructure. Skilled at building and managing relationships with senior leaders across Product, Services, and Sales. Experienced in designing and implementing strategies or systems that solve specific deployment challenges and improve operational efficiency. Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice and solutions in Workday Financials or comparable ERP domains. Strong orientation toward understanding and prioritizing the needs of delivery teams and end customers. Experience planning, creating, and managing deployment content, guidance materials, and tooling documentation for delivery teams and partners. Ability to clearly and effectively share complex financial and technical information across diverse audiences. Skillful problem solving and the ability to translate patterns in escalations and feedback into scalable solutions. Ability to guide and influence cross‑functional teams toward shared goals without direct authority. Comfortable navigating change, learning from setbacks, and adapting to evolving deployment requirements. Quick learning agility to stay current as Workday’s platform and tooling evolve. Workday Pay Transparency Statement Base pay ranges for the primary location (Atlanta, GA, USA) are $158,400 USD – $237,600 USD. Additional US locations range from $150,500 USD – $267,400 USD. The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Compensation offers are based on geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need. Our Approach to Flexible Work Workday combines in‑person time and remote work.
