Radiology Tech (CT Tech) travel assignment in Craig, Colorado. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Days shift with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,439–$2,580 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: Short term acute care hospital imaging department Responsibilities Perform radiologic procedures to support diagnostic interpretation, with emphasis on CT imaging; ensure image quality and adherence to department protocols Practice radiation safety per ALARA standards; verify pregnancy status for female patients and apply shielding as required Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer recommendations; conduct quality control checks and document results Verify exam orders, confirm patient identity using two identifiers, provide patient education, and document relevant medical history related to the procedure Communicate with radiologists on imaging findings; notify of STAT or emergent cases and provide radiologist contact information as needed Assist with clerical duties, patient transportation when required, inventory maintenance, and cross-train to additional imaging modalities; troubleshoot equipment and elevate downtime issues Requirements Licensure/Certification: ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and CT (or eligible for two registries listed, with attainment within 1 year of hire) to be registered in at least two modalities Certification: Current BLS certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire) Experience: Prior practice as a technologist in radiology or CT preferred; cross-training to other modalities encouraged Education: Relevant radiologic technology education required; ability to operate within a fast-paced imaging department Additional: Ability to work in a travel assignment, with the listed shift and guaranteed hours; good communication skills and proficiency with PACS/RIS/HIS Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Extension opportunities based on performance and department needs Housing assistance options may be available; inquire for details Credentialing and compliance support to assist with licensure and certifications 24/7 support line for assignment questions and needs About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
