AVP - Pet Partners and Digital Experience

Role Summary/Purpose:The AVP - Pet Partners and Digital Experience will be a pivotal role in realizing Synchrony’s ambitious Health and Wellness growth goals - driving strategic solutions and growing the pet market portfolio for the platform. This will involve working with external partners and cross functionally to identify expanded revenue opportunities and deliver growth initiatives for the pet business vertical across the CareCredit. This role will also coordinate with CareCredit’s pet insurance partnerships with Doubtless and Clarus where opportunities for broader go-to-market across multiple companies makes sense.Essential Responsibilities:Drive commercialization (accounts, transactions) by serving as relationship lead for key ISV and digital partnersSource and negotiate partnership agreements directly with pet software and eCommerce partners; obtain IRSC approval and own partnership growth initiativesCollaborate with Pet leadership, H&W ISV team, Business Development, Ventures, and Strategy to pursue integrations and eCommerce partnerships and new product opportunities for existing partnersSupport Partners and Digital Experiences team with pipeline management, sales operations, and reporting as neededLiaise with Vet CD team to provide subject matter expertise as required for large and mid-size partners who want to learn more about (or are already utilizing) the ISV workflow integrations establishedEngage, influence, and coordinate prioritization of business objectives and IT developmentTrack and report performance: Establish KPIs (pipeline, integrations delivered, activation/adoption, volume/revenue, partner health/NPS) and provide regular executive updates and recommendationsPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedExpected to travel 25-50% based on partner/conference schedulesQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience in Financial Services.3+ years of sales/marketing experience with a track record of results.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering formal communications to either senior business leaders or key external business partnersAbility and flexibility to travel for business as requiredDesired Characteristics:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related fieldExperience working within eCommerce and/or digital paymentsPet and/or veterinary industry experience, including in-depth knowledge of the marketplaceExperience building relationships with Senior ManagementUnderstanding of revolving and installment credit market in including credit compliance requirementsKnowledge of the territory/marketplace dealer baseAbility to identify new opportunities and develop solutions to achieve resultsAbility to conduct effective sales presentations, consultative and needs-assessment sellingStrong performance track record and focus on resultsHighly motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver on deadlinesIn-depth understanding of concepts and principles and basic commercial awarenessAnalytical thinker with excellent communication and training skillsProven ability to influence corporate decision makers; strong negotiating skillsProven ability to work remotely and independentlyGrade/Level: 11The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Our Way of Working:We’re proud to offer you flexibility.
