HR Assistant
Kentfield and San Francisco Specialty Hospital
Founded in 1954 as Center Medical Hospital, Kentfield Hospital- now a subsidiary of American Advanced Management-is a Long-Term Acute care Hospital (LTACH) serving patients across two locations in Marin County and San Francisco. Our 60-bed facilities specialize in caring for individuals with critical or chronic complex medical conditions who require extended recovery periods.Kentfield Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including cardiac care, neuro recovery, respiratory support, advanced wound care and physical/occupational therapy. At Kentfield, we work in close partnership with patients and families to help achieve the best possible outcomes.SUMMARY: Kentfield hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate HR Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role assists the HR director and handles employee onboarding, maintaining personnel files, supporting payroll and benefits administrations, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Keeps track of regulatory requirements such as licensure and certifications, working closely with schedulingProvides administrative support to HR department, filing, projects, compliance and running reportsSupport with payroll processing, benefits, and performance management administrationAssists with new hire orientation as well as onboarding (background checks, onboarding paperwork, benefits, etc)I-9 verification and maintaining I-9 filesPerforms customer service responsibilities, answering employee requests and concerns regarding HR policies and proceduresMaintains accurate employee data to ensure integrity of HR and employeeChanges in salary, title, forms, benefits, etc.Assists with recruitment activities such as creating and managing requisitions, interviews, and candidate relationsKnowledge of HIPAA, The Joint Commission, state and federal regulations relating to Human ResourcesQUALIFICATIONS:Associate degree in Business Administration, or related field or aPHR/PHRDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelyStrong organizational and multitasking skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBENEFITS: 401k, Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr Kentfield and San Francisco Specialty Hospital
