Working Environment The position is located at the Juneau Public Health Center, 3412 Glacier Highway. Parking is available and access to Twin Lakes Park and nature trails is convenient. Qualifications Eligibility: Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Alaska. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university. Additional Experience/Competencies: Public Health, Standards compliance, Managing Human Resources, Developing Others, Accountability. These may be gained through advanced coursework or progressively responsible professional nursing experience. Additional Required Information At interview, provide: Three (3) professional references, including a current or most recent supervisor. Copy of current nursing license (from any state). Copy of academic transcripts (unofficial acceptable). Before employment, provide: Proof of Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap), Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR), Varicella immunizations. Proof of Hepatitis B immunity or signed declination. Annual influenza vaccination or signed declination. Proof of tuberculosis screening within past 12 months. Copy of current driver’s license.
