Heat Pump Lead Installer – Drive Residential Electrification and High-Performance HVAC Builds Job Overview Company: Electrify My Home Salary/Pay Rate: $35 to $48 per hour plus Performance Based Bonus (commission) Location: Suisun City, CA (Travel Required within the local region) Job/Employment Type: Full Time Schedule: 4-day, 10-hour shifts (3-day weekend every weekend) Project Scope: Residential Mechanical & HVAC Mandatory Licences & Certifications: NATE Certification, Manufacturer Training Certificates, and a Valid Driver's License The Opportunity You will serve as a critical field leader, handling high-performance heat pump installations and executing precise residential electrification. This role allows you to showcase true craftsmanship while utilizing advanced technology and precise system designs to deliver exceptional comfort. You will have the autonomy to manage on-site projects and the backing of a highly respected statewide training provider. How You Will Make An Impact Execute advanced residential heat pump installations including ducted, ductless, and multizone systems. Lead final system commissioning, air balancing, and diagnostic troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Manage daily project logistics and review technical documentations like startup sheets and load calculations. Supervise and mentor junior installation team members to foster technical growth and career advancement. Resolve real-time technical and logistical issues on-site with minimal oversight or project delay. Serve as the primary customer-facing technician maintaining clear communication and excellent service. Maintain strict personal discipline and accountability while upholding the company's core mission and values. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years of dedicated residential HVAC installation experience. Valid NATE certification and verified manufacturer training certificates. Proven proficiency in low- and high-voltage wiring, brazing, and proper refrigerant charging. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills necessary for managing field dynamics. Absolute willingness to travel up to 20% of working hours to various residential assignments. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 4 or more years of advanced residential HVAC and heat pump installation experience. Demonstrated experience in mentoring or training junior team members in a field environment. Deep knowledge of energy-efficient building practices and full residential gas-to-electric conversions.
