JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Newburyport, MA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 05, 2026 – Jan 04, 2027 Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Mileage and lodging covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics Patient Volume/Census: 27,000 annually Case Mix: Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, Cancer Care FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 83 EMR System: Epic DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a 24/7 emergency department setting. Manage acute and urgent care patients, including trauma, fast track, and medical emergencies. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, order medications, and develop treatment plans. Collaborate with board-certified emergency physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR and adhere to hospital protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
