Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• ARRT certification required.
• Ultrasound certificate required.
• X-ray experience required.
• Driver's license required at submittal.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
• On-call requirement: 1 weekday night per week and every 4th weekend.
• General ultrasound only. No vascular or echo.
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics.
• Biopsies performed in department.
• Department uses EPIC and McKesson.
• Equipment includes Siemens scanners.
• Cyclic scheduling in 8- and 9-hour shifts.
• Holiday requirement: on-call rotation.
• Orientation is 1 week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
