Dental Assistant
(Temp-to-Hire)

Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8:45a – 4:45p

Responsibilities:

• Support the dentist smoothly and unobtrusively during examinations and treatments by passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids, and mixing materials and medicaments
• Provide exceptional customer service by escorting patients to and from the treatment room, prepping them for care, and continuously monitoring their comfort and safety
• Review medical histories, past progress, and scheduled treatment plans with patients, and accurately document treatment details and time requirements for future appointments
• Decontaminate and sterilize all instruments, clean handpieces and vacuum traps, maintain the lab and sterilizing areas, and routinely change chemical solutions (disinfectants, sterilants, and ultrasonic solutions)
• Prepare and restock treatment rooms, and ensure that all operatory lights, units, nitrous equipment, and automatic processors are fully functional prior to the first patient
• Safely expose, develop, and mount dental radiographs under the supervision of a licensed dentist
• Keep lab counter areas clean and organized, and handle supply ordering to ensure the clinic remains well-stocked.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• EMR experience
• Dental assisting experience (1-2 years)
• CPR certification
• Skilled with dental office equipment
• Microsoft Office proficiency

Compensation:

• $22-30/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
