Job title: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Starting Pay rate : $23.50 per hour

Possible Start date : asap

Hours/Shift : 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday but limited to around 30 hours per week.

Length of assignment : may end December 31, 2026, or go longer

The LPN would travel to peer centers throughout the New River Valley (Floyd County, Giles County, Montgomery County, Pulaski County, and Radford City) to provide basic health department services to clients at-risk of substance use, with a history of substance use, or currently using substances. Services may include taking and recording blood pressure measurements; heights and weights; collecting and preparing samples for testing (blood and urine); making and tracking referrals to community health and other partners; providing health education; basic wound care; providing naloxone training; etc.

Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse or higher in Virginia. BLS and current driver's license with no record.
