Litigation Legal Assistant ( Labor & Employment)

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established firm with offices in five major commercial centers across California. They have been recognized by the LA Times as a "Top Law Firm," while their labor and employment department received a Top 25 ranking from the publication. We are searching for a Litigation Legal Assistant with 3+ years of Labor & Employment experience in Los Angeles, CA.

Duties:

• Support attorneys with labor & employment litigation matters, including class actions, PAGA, and wage & hour cases

• Prepare and file state and federal court filings, including e-filings

• Manage litigation calendaring and deadlines in accordance with court rules

• Assist with pleadings, including tables of contents and tables of authorities

• Proofread and format legal documents and correspondence

• Provide administrative and litigation support across multiple matters and teams

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably in Labor & Employment

• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing

• Experience with litigation calendaring and deadline tracking

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

• Experience with iManage or similar document management systems

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and CCC Macros is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range is $90,000 +

Location:

• This position is full-time, non-exempt, and on-site, with hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
