LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

Licensed Practical Nurse Duties

As a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE, you will:

1. Perform nursing assignments of a highly specialized nature to include medication administration and hands on nursing care.
2. Identify Resident problems and provides input to the plan of care.
3. Communicate responses and/or changes to others to include all personnel, physicians, and members of interdisciplinary teams.
4. Describe the Resident in writing if indicated to include all the following: physical appearance, emotional status, Resident's interaction with staff and/or family, Resident's knowledge of disease process and Resident's verbal/nonverbal actions/responses.
