Actual pay is dependent on the highest degree earned, number of years of relevant experience, and supplements included in the contract

Minimum Requirements

1. Must pass a background check
2. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
3. Possess or be able to acquire an active Tennessee teaching license with endorsement in the appropriate field

Preferred

• Active Tennessee teaching license with appropriate endorsement(s)1
• Experience teaching in a relevant subject and grade band

Other

• Able to support the school and district through club sponsorship, ongoing professional development, school sports coaching, and/or attendance at extracurricular events

Tennessee Ridge Elementary School seeks a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to inspire and educate students by planning, delivering, and assessing engaging, standards-aligned lessons across core subjects, including literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, while tailoring instruction to meet each child's unique needs and leveraging data to guide interventions. As a member of our small, collaborative faculty, you will integrate technology, coordinate with support staff to implement accommodations, and foster strong partnerships with families and the broader community through clear and consistent communication, as well as participation in events such as literacy nights and academic showcases.
