Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical exams and in-depth medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide crucial intraoperative support, including preparing the operating room, ensuring patient positioning, and handing instruments during surgeries
• Offer top-notch pre- and post-operative care, such as medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical experience are preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
