GCP Data Engineer - Charlotte, NC - Fulltime Role

Duration: Fulltime No Visa sponsorship available. Only GC and USC can apply. Job Description We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer with 5 to 7 years of data engineering experience, at least 1 year with GCP. Experience in Data Engineering ETL Pipelines (Batch and Streaming) along with SQL, Python, PySpark, Unix/Linux and data warehousing concepts. Experience in GCP native services like BigQuery, Composer, GCS, Dataflow, etc. Experience in data migration along with data quality and data governance. Experience working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment; participation in standup meetings, scrum ceremonies, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and suggestion of improvements. Ability to articulate and facilitate conversations with business owners and delivery teams. Detailed understanding of CI/CD, test automation and deployments. Document and prioritize data and pipeline defects, working closely with defect management teams for resolution. Provide status reporting, project risk and issue management, stakeholder reviews and approvals of deliverables.
