Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Pain Management

Location: Fairbanks or Palmer, AK

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM

We are seeking an NP or PA to join a collaborative outpatient pain management practice. New graduates are welcome; experience in pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain patients.
• Develop treatment plans and manage medications.
• Perform procedures such as SI joint, trigger point, and intra-articular injections as qualified.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• See approximately 25 patients per day.

Requirements

• Active Alaska NP or PA license.
• National board certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to obtain required insurance and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
