Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more functions of laboratory sections. Maintains records of performance as defined in the Laboratory's general and procedure manuals. Responsible for specific laboratory department policies, procedures and records and ensures that all policies and procedures are performed as defined by all staff. Performs all services as they may relate to patient care / treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient. Oversees day to day operations of FSER Laboratory function to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.; including staff performance. Serves as a liaison for lab services to the hospital, physicians and nurses related to FSER functions.
