Delivery Driver

Job duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and delivering products by car to customers. Training and communication skills are required, along with the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Essential functions and skills include mathematical abilities, making correct monetary change, motor coordination, and entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work conditions involve exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperature ranges, fumes from food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing abilities include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain are essential. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving company products within a designated delivery area, walking, climbing, and exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while driving.
