Student Nurse Oncology Unit Per Diem Varied Shifts MMH

Responsibilities As part of a patient‑first approach, nurse interns partner with a registered nurse, nurse preceptor, or other licensed healthcare professional to develop critical‑thinking skills and gain experience for a smooth transition into clinical practice upon graduation from an accredited nursing or other accredited occupational program. Interns create and nurture relationships with patients, families, community members, colleagues, and staff within a caring and healing environment while exercising teamwork skills in a professional practice setting. Interns strive for excellent patient safety and quality outcomes and consistently demonstrate Service Excellence. Other duties are assigned as needed.
