Business Intelligence Engineer

Title: Business Intelligence Engineer Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: 12 months Compensation: $40-48/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Job Responsibilities: enhance and maintain existing reporting, including conducting data quality reviews and standardizing and documenting KPI and metric calculations. The role will also encompass the development of new dashboards and reporting capabilities, including trend analyses, monthly flash reporting dashboards, business review support, and operational dashboards. will support the transition of data to new GRC platforms, bridging the gap between current-state Excel workbooks and reporting tools while providing interim reporting continuity. Additionally, the role includes documenting queries, dashboard logic, and metric definitions, as well as developing SOPs and playbooks to enable risk managers to operate effectively in the future state. Requirements Strong SQL skills for querying risk and compliance data from source systems and BI datasets. Advanced spreadsheet modeling (Excel/Quip) for interim mechanisms, normalization, and scenario analysis. BI Tools Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableauor equivalent. Ability to design and implement repeatable dashboards, KPI/KRI views, and drill-down reports for leadership and ROC.
