Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - $1,915 per week

Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Position (Kissimmee, Florida) MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment beginning 06/22/2026. The role will involve 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Cath Lab Tech is to provide assistance with patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL) through technical support to the cardiac catheterization team. Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department. Assist in performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Maintain a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and co‑working to address the physical, general, and psychosocial needs of the patient. Work under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist or radiologist performing the procedure. Assist the cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires, other necessary inventory, and medications as ordered. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly. Qualifications Current license in good standing. Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials. Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
