Field Services Engineer Lead - Cognizant

Key Responsibilities Lead on‑site support for desktops, rugged laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference‑room A/V equipment across office and manufacturing environments. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve break/fix incidents and deployment requests using ITSM ticketing workflows. Utilize SCCM for image deployment, software distribution, and patch management; ensure compliance and inventory accuracy. Leverage Nexthink and IT Shop for real‑time endpoint visibility, performance monitoring, and proactive issue identification. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement hardware upgrades, configure network connectivity, and maintain documentation of configurations and procedures. Requirements 4–7 years of hands‑on desktop support experience in both office and factory settings. Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS). Experience using SCCM for imaging, software deployment, and patch management. Familiarity with ITSM platforms and endpoint monitoring tools such as Nexthink.
