MACHINE OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $22.70/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Alternating day schedule
• • Overtime may be required based on business needs

MACHINE OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Machine Operator  will join a manufacturing team focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a production environment and are committed to maintaining high-quality standards while operating manufacturing equipment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform product inspections and quality checks
• Complete equipment changeovers, line clearances, and cleaning activities
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Monitor production output to achieve quality and productivity goals
• Perform SAP and MES system transactions
• Maintain compliance with GMP, quality, and safety standards
• Handle raw materials and finished goods as needed
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Cross-train in other departmental functions to support operations
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation

MACHINE OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Experience with SAP, MES, or similar production systems is a plus
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers or microscopes is preferred
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions and specifications in English
• Basic math skills required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new tasks and rotate responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around production equipment
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to work extended or flexible hours when needed
