Responsible for the implementation and support of technical solutions, including platform systems that require critical aspects of infrastructure, network, application, database, and security frameworks.Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise platforms, including applications, servers, storage, and networked services.Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and capacity.Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues across multiple environments.Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.Contribute to the design and implementation of new platforms and services.Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and patch management.Support security hardening and vulnerability remediation efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical projects.QualificationsBachelor's Degree Computer Science requiredBachelor's Degree Related Field of Study requiredMGB can consider and review, experience in lieu of a degree for this roleExperience as a systems engineer or related position 3-5 years requiredSkills for SuccessProficient in administering enterprise systems and platforms.Strong understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancers.Strong understanding of data structure and database systems.Intermediate scripting and automation skills to streamline operational tasks.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system and application issues.Experience with system monitoring tools and interpreting performance data.Understanding of system security concepts and the implementation of security-leading practices.Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.Salesforce Developer Certifications Preferred: Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, Javascript Certified DeveloperSalesforce Administrator Certifications Preferred: Administrator 201, Administrator 301 preferred.Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages: Java experience requiredExperience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, HTML/JavaScript/Ajax, and XML preferred.Experience with the Lightning Framework and the creation of Lightning Web ComponentsExperience with responsive UI design utilizing frameworks like Bootstrap preferred.Experience with Relational Database design and development using MS SQL Server.Experience developing Integration Web Services with RESTful and SOAP protocols.Experience with APIs, Integration principles (ideally including Epic).Proficiency with developing reports is desired.Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Team Foundation Server, Azure Dev Ops, and SharePoint is desired.Experience with Agile, Scrum or CMMI software development methodologies is desired.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Physical RequirementsM-F Eastern Business HoursHybrid working model includes in office, must be flexible 1-2x weekly based on business needsRemote workdays require stable, secure, quiet, compliant workspaceRemote TypeHybridWork Location399 Revolution DriveScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftDay (United States of America)Pay Range$75,275.20 - $109,553.60/AnnualGrade6At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
