Haystack Pizza Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Hand Pizza Maker to join our team in San Francisco, CA! If you love the art of crafting delicious pizzas from scratch and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be a part of a team that takes pride in every pie we make! Responsibilities:
- Hand-stretch and shape pizza dough to consistent size and thickness
- Prepare and apply sauces, cheeses, and toppings according to recipes and customer orders
- Operate and monitor pizza ovens to ensure proper baking temperatures and times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
- Assist with daily prep work including dough production, ingredient portioning, and restocking
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Prior experience in pizza making, dough handling, or a similar kitchen role preferred
- Proficiency in hand-stretching and shaping pizza dough
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one
