Forklift Operator

We're looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to support material handling operations in a fast-paced production and yard environment. This role focuses on safely moving and processing scrap materials while keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Operate a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials throughout the facility

Handle and consolidate scrap materials (aluminum, steel, etc.) into designated containers

Load and prepare materials for shipment, including banding and wrapping

Inspect materials and containers for quality and proper handling

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Complete basic equipment checks and report any issues

Follow all site safety procedures and guidelines

Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, yard, or production environment

Strong focus on safety and attention to detail

Ability to perform general labor tasks (lifting, cleaning, organizing)

Comfortable working in an industrial setting (noise, dust, outdoor conditions)

Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience with RF scanners or inventory systems

Familiarity with pallet jacks or other material handling equipment

Industrial setting with a mix of indoor and outdoor work. Requires use of PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.) and comfort working in a hands-on, active role.

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Arlington, WA.
