Senior Solutions Engineer

Education Level4 Year Degree## Description**Central & Eastern Pennsylvania | Full-time | Hybrid + customer-site travel****Design solutions that engineering can execute.**Watchkeep is looking for a **Senior Solutions Engineer with deep technical expertise** who can assess complex IT environments, identify risks and requirements, and turn discovery into accurate, implementation-ready solutions.This is a technical ownership role. You will be responsible for ensuring solutions are **well-designed, validated, accurately scoped, and ready for engineering before they are sold.****What You'll Own*** Lead technical discovery, environment assessments, audits, and site surveys.* Design secure, supportable solutions across Microsoft 365/Azure/Entra, networking, infrastructure, identity, endpoints, security, and backup/disaster recovery.* Identify technical debt, compatibility issues, security risks, dependencies, and lifecycle concerns.* Produce accurate SOWs, BOMs, diagrams, labor estimates, assumptions, dependencies, and implementation plans.* Validate licensing, compatibility, vendor configurations, quantities, and technical requirements before quoting.* Present technical recommendations and tradeoffs to customer stakeholders.* Lead the technical handoff to Project and Field Engineering and resolve gaps before implementation.**The Role**This is **not a quota-carrying sales position**. Reasonable accommodations are available during the hiring process.## Qualifications* 5+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, solution architecture, project engineering, managed services, or technical consulting.* Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft cloud, networking/firewalls, servers/virtualization, identity, endpoints, security, and backup.* Proven ability to translate discovery into **accurate, implementation-ready technical designs and documentation**.* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to technical detail.* Ability to independently research, validate, and challenge incomplete or technically unsound designs.* Working knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, or CMMC is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
