How you'll make an impact in this role

• Guide Patients Through Post-Surgical Recovery: Deliver expert, direct nursing care across the recovery continuum, safely managing patients as they emerge from anesthesia in accordance with our trusted hospital protocols.
• Provide Critical Vigilance & Clear Communication: Closely monitor, record, and interpret patient conditions during the vital post-operative window, executing physician orders with precision and serving as a calming, vital link for families and the surgical team.
• Coordinate Safe, Smooth Transitions: Act as the central coordinator across medical disciplines on an as-needed basis, balancing immediate clinical stability with comprehensive discharge planning to ensure patients are safely prepared for their next phase of healing or return home.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
  transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 1 year PACU experience
