Registered Veterinary Technician (Surgery) – SAGE Concord Full-Time 4/10 hr shifts per week Compensation: $32–$42/hour, plus a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus! As a Surgery RVT, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality surgical care to our patients. You’ll work alongside board-certified surgeons and highly skilled veterinary professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Preoperative Care: Prepare surgical suites assist with patient preparation. Anesthesia: Administer, monitor, and adjust anesthesia during procedures, ensuring patient safety. Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons by providing instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and anticipating needs. Postoperative Care: Monitor patient recovery, administer medications, maintain accurate medical records. Radiography: Capture and process diagnostic X-rays as needed for surgical procedures. Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical equipment and instruments. Client Communication: Provide clear, compassionate guidance on postoperative care and home recovery instructions. Emergency Response: Assist with emergency surgical procedures when needed.
