Application Security Engineer ManagerThe Opportunity: As an Application Security Engineer Manager you will oversee client work focused on designing and improving security across cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, while applying cloud security methods to identify vulnerabilities, monitor threats, and perform risk and vulnerability testing. As a Manager you will guide teams, coach team members, and manage project workstreams while using sound judgment, technology, and business awareness to deliver work that aligns with client needs within our Advisory practice. In this role at PwC, you will apply deep knowledge of cloud service providers, support secure system design, and help develop practical security solutions that address evolving cyber threats and cloud risks.Responsibilities:Leading application security assessments across cloud environments and client delivery workstreamsDesigning and implementing security controls for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platformsReviewing cloud architectures to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and control gapsConducting risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and application security reviews for cloud-based systemsGuiding teams in the use of cloud security tools, engineering methods, and remediation approachesMonitoring emerging cloud threats and translating findings into practical security actionsCoaching team members on security architecture, incident response, and control validation methodsCommunicating security findings and remediation priorities to technical and business stakeholdersApplying security frameworks, identity protections, and cloud service risk management practices to client environmentsWhat You Must Have:At least a Bachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of experienceWhat Sets You Apart:Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Administration/Management, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer Systems Analysis, Information CyberSecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information SystemsDemonstrating application security experience across cloud environments and enterprise systemsLeading security reviews, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessment activitiesDeveloping client-focused security controls, architecture, and implementation plansMentoring team members through coaching, feedback, and work reviewCoordinating project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communicationsApplying cybersecurity knowledge to support secure transformation initiativesTravel Requirements: Up to 40%The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
