Procurement Specialist

Job Description The Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing the distribution and billing of all project materials and equipment. They will work closely with vendors to secure the appropriate supplies and to uphold positive working relationships. General Responsibilities Conduct product research for the Project Management and Estimation Team Pricing Lead Times Specs Material Gather product samples if requested Coordinate with runner staff to move/arrange existing materials, supplies and equipment between projects Coordinate with supervisors for delivery of material and supplies at job site Order rental equipment and storage containers for job site Keep track of quantity and location of each Generate usage report when requested Review invoices for price and quantity discrepancies against Purchase Order (PO) Contact vendor for any mistakes found and have them corrected Check to make sure PO’s were submitted correctly for ordering material by supervisors Check Bill of Lading (BOL) to make sure material arrived on job site Assist supervisors and Project Managers regarding issues with PO’s, BOL’s, Equipment, and Material ordering/maintenance Review vendor Statements to make sure all invoices were received Input PO into ME Summary Sheet Oversee Invoice and BOL information in the ME Summary Generate material reports for Estimating or PM Team Qualifications In depth understanding of Microsoft Suite Good communication skills Excellent time management and organization skills Bilingual: English & Spanish preferred This is an in office position, not remote.
