DUMP TRUCK DRIVER

Overview We are seeking a motivated Civil Construction Truck Driver to join ourdynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to operate various types of trucks and equipment to support large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Duties Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, side dumps,lowboys, dump trucks, flatbeds, to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites Load and unload construction materials with precision and care,ensuring safety standards are met Drive route across multiple locations while adhering to schedules andsafety protocols Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensureoptimal operation and safety compliance Assist with forklift operation when necessary for material handlingon-site or at loading zones Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, andvehicle maintenance records Support project teams by transporting heavy equipment or materials asneeded Report defects, accidents or violations in a timelymanner Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as withcompany policies and procedure. Requirements Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)required Proven experience driving commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers,side dumps, lowboys, dump trucks, or flatbeds in construction or similar environments Skilled in manual transmission operation with a strong understandingof truck handling and safety procedures 3 + years of proven experience in driving truck for a CivilConstruction company Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while maintainingsafety standards Familiarity with route driving logistics across urban or ruralconstruction sites Experience with forklift operation is a plus for handling materialson-site Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and bestpractices for professional truck driving Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those thatmust be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
