Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Florissant, MO

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A vibrant educational setting has an immediate need for a skilled speech-language pathologist to work full time, offering essential services to a dedicated caseload of up to 45 students in a half-day program (AM/PM sessions). This dynamic role runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (dependent on snow days), with daily hours from 8:15 to 3:30 and a 30-minute lunch break. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility prior to the start date) Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Effective communicator with students, staff, and families Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities Team player committed to collaborative work within PLCs and with the IEP team Key Responsibilities Deliver direct speech-language therapy in accordance with IEP goals Develop and execute engaging weekly lesson plans tailored to individual student needs Maintain thorough records, documenting and reporting progress toward goals three times per year Serve as IEP case manager: schedule, lead meetings, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams Participate in professional development, staff meetings, arrival and dismissal procedures, and other program and district initiatives Adapt to additional duties as assigned to support the success of all learners If you're dedicated to fostering communication skills and advocating for students' educational growth, this contract role offers a meaningful way to make a difference in young lives.
