Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring prompt and effective treatment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes during shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority of care based on clinical needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status promptly.
• Document patient histories, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards to maintain a sterile and safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
