Maintenance Electrician

$32.00 - $38.00 per hour + 8% Shift Differential
2nd or 3rd Shift | 8-Hour Shifts
Overtime Available

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established printing manufacturer in Dixon, IL.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly automated production equipment while earning shift differential, overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental and vision insurance .

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, automation and mechanical equipment
Install, upgrade and modify manufacturing equipment
Diagnose and support PLC-controlled machinery
Perform preventative and reliability-centred maintenance
Recommend equipment improvements and corrective actions
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and maintenance drawings
Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
Work closely with Production to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability
Follow OSHA and company safety standards

What We're Looking For

5-10 years' industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical background
Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation systems
Strong understanding of PLC systems and industrial controls
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and maintenance diagrams
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
Mechanical maintenance experience
