Brudvik Inc is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver/Equipment Technician to join our team. We are a local Electrical Contractor with a large fleet of rental equipment (generators, light towers, moon balloons, distribution, specialty lighting, etc). Our current Rental Department Manager will train you on the equipment that we have in stock.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load generators, distro, light towers, etc at our yard in Palm Springs
- Deliver rental equipment to customers in the Coachella Valley
- Communicate with customers about location of equipment and instructions on use
- Set-up equipment on site
- Document equipment hours
- Troubleshoot issues on site
- Strike equipment on site
- Pick-Up rental equipment and return it to our yard
- Fuel equipment on site and in yard
- Help to organize and maintain equipment at yard
- Occasional after-hours deliveries and pick-ups (nights and weekends)
- Occasional "on-call" shifts
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Age 21+
- Valid CA driver's license for 3+ years
- Clean driving record
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles/equipment
- Able to pass a drug test
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable and hardworking
- Experience with forklifts is a plus
