Purpose of the Position: Assists with routine and special cleaning needs of the Hotel, in a timely and efficient manner. Provides clean and properly stocked rooms to meet established standards of quality, service and cleanliness. At the Hyatt Regency Coralville, we offer the following benefits & perks, including, but not limited to: * Competitive and robust Compensation Package * Matching 401k & Profit Sharing Options * Insurance benefits after 30 days of full-time employment * Flexible schedule and emphasis on work/life balance * Multitude of associate discounts for Hyatt and Marcus Hotels & Resorts properties * Free Marcus Theaters movie tickets * Free & Discounted Meals/Starbucks * Free Parking As a Housekeeper, you would: * Properly clean 16 guestrooms per day. * Cleans guestrooms in an efficient manner and within allocated time per room. * Changes bed linens at guest's request. * Dusts furniture, empties wastebaskets, and cleans mirrors and pictures. * Cleans bathroom and vanity areas using prescribed procedures. * Use commercial push-vacuum and cleans vacuum on a daily basis. * Responsible for the organization and re-stocking of carrier/cart at the beginning of the shift. * Assists with deep cleaning duties. * Reports any maintenance problems, safety concerns, or injuries to supervisor. * Turns in all lost and found items to supervisor. * Follows all policies, including proper uniform attire, OSHA standards and procedures and key control procedures. * Performs all other related duties and special projects as requested. * Touch up guestrooms as needed. * Ensure all closets on guest floors remain closed throughout the shift. * Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and personal hygiene. * Perform other duties as assigned. We are looking for our next amazing property leader, who will: * Be punched in, in uniform and ready for work as scheduled. * Be able to use all cleaning equipment and materials. * Have and adhere to a flexible work schedule. * Represent the property in a courteous and well-groomed manner. * Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and carry their equipment on a regular and extended basis. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitals, nursing homes, medical centers, or as a custodian, room attendant, or residential cleaner is preferred but not required.
