Medical Receptionist

Front-desk receptionist who is the first voice and the first face our members meet. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our members, in person and on the phone. This role greets arriving patients, manages the daily schedule, answers and routes incoming calls, confirms upcoming appointments, verifies demographic and insurance information at check-in, collects any payment due, and keeps the front of the office calm and organized through the clinic day. Because Signature Medicine is a membership practice, the front desk is part of the care experience rather than a queue to get through. The receptionist works alongside the physician and clinical staff to keep visits running on time, to route anything urgent to the right person immediately, and to make sure every member is recognized and expected when they walk in. The ideal candidate is warm, discreet, and organized, communicates clearly on the phone and in writing, and handles protected health information with care.
