Pay and Benefits The starting pay range for this position per hour is $25.00 - $27.00. The full pay range for this position per hour is $25.00 - $42.50. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond at All About Food & Beverage The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store. Responsibilities Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience. Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations. Actively observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize great guest experience moments. Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align the team on the right behaviors and execution. Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including planning food service transitions, revisions, sales plans, sampling, promotions and price change workload. Assign daily tasks to TMs based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly business priorities set by the direct leader. Assess food service back of house, production areas, dining spaces and merchandising spaces to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels. Walk Food & Beverage Standards and Food Service routines daily to assess priorities and review reporting to identify business gaps for follow‑up. Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines, including monitoring and recording temperature‑sensitive food items. Validate and follow up on team members’ progress against department checklists and routines. Lead the team to uphold all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications (where applicable). Ensure accurate in‑stocks by placing store‑initiated orders according to best practices. Make production quantity decisions just‑in‑time to ensure freshness, in‑stocks, sales and profitability. Remain up‑to‑date on relevant trends and products to educate team members. Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes. At the direction of the direct leader, establish clear goals and hold team members accountable to expectations. Lead and demonstrate safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, and assisting with incident response. Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences. Model execution of physical security processes to enhance the in‑store security culture. Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store. Occasionally assume store‑level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience during assigned shifts. Address all store emergency and compliance needs. Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU) and maintain compliance culture while executing those duties. All other duties based on business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 18 years of age. Previous retail experience preferred. Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business. Ability to lead and hold others accountable. Effective communication skills. Work independently and as part of a team. Manage workload, prioritize tasks independently. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Can use handheld scanners and other technology equipment. Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues. Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb ladders where required. Move merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance. Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures, handle allergens, and tolerate varying temperatures and humidity. Maintain mobility for the duration of shifts.
