The Production Coordinator will spend 30% of their time on a computer and 70% of the time on their feet helping "finish" assorted print work.30% of computer time will encompass the following:Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs, and make the graphics print-readyAdding Path Cut Lines to certain files."Ripping" files to print.Mechanical graphic design needs for assorted needs. This can vary from a simple banner all the way to a vehicle advertisement.Entering orders into our workflow software.Communicating with customers by email and telephone concerning specific details on orders.Using our software to ship an order via UPS or Fedex.70% of time on their feet helping finish printed jobs.Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators, and routers.Inspected completed print work to ensure there are no defects.Reviewing order details to ensure all elements are produced accurately.Weeding vinylHemming & applying grommets to banners.Using a straight Edge and knife to cut orders apart.Installing vinyl onto flat surfaces.Assisting with inventory management.Ideal candidates will also possess:2+ years of working with Adobe creative suites. Solid knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a must.Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic and signage finishingAssociate or bachelor's Degree in graphic design (or similar program)Must be able to lift 50lbs.Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearWorking at SpeedPro and in the large-format printing industry, gives you a chance to be creative.
